As part of the ongoing development of EKS, the Developing department has major innovations to release in quarter 01/2024. For practical reasons, the frontend design was completely redesigned in the last few months, with a special focus on the aspects of a selectable dark mode and usability on mobile devices such as smartphones, with responsible web design. In addition, an official documentation of EKS was created, which is always up-to-date and available at [EKS Documentation](https://iab-access.ddns.net/eks/documentation/), for the time being still public. The Developing Department is glad to introduce a new service, FMS, an internal cloud solution for EKS. With this it is possible to manage files and link them to EKS data sets. In the face of the 60th Presidential Election of the United States, on November 5th, 2024, the IAB feels compelled to take a stand. We pledge our support to both parties as long as their agenda is consistent with the IAB's principles. We reserve the right to take consistent action against military, anti-democratic or otherwise aggressive behavior and to terminate our relations with immediate effect.

Following a positive responsibility check on the part of the IAB regarding the Middle East conflict, we see ourselves in a position to act here as well. Our support is guaranteed to our member states. The IAB is also taking action in the face of possible war crimes. Further information cannot be provided for strategic reasons.

The war in Ukraine is not over yet either. The IAB supports the local armed forces. Current statistics on losses, resources or units are classified. Information on strategic plans or operations is also classified.

Despite the political crises, we are still on the front line in order to remain loyal to our founding principles.
